| I had a 1971 shovelhead (worst ever, no argument). Later a 1997 Low Rider w/stock Evo. Bought it used and racked up 25,000+ miles in a year or so. Totaled it on the highway going 65 mph.No mechanical problems, wasn't afraid to go anywhere, anytime.Next had a used Twin Cam. Didn't keep it long , too expensive. Had no problems, put 10,000+ miles on it.Now have an Evo Sportster. Got it with 9500 miles on it. Put 10,000 miles on it in 6 months. No problems and had a lot of fun with it.I have also owned or ridden Jap, German and British bikes. Enjoyed all of them, just prefer Harleys. Had more trouble with a new Honda I got years ago than any Evo I have owned. |
